Welcome to Tech Ambassadors

Program Overview

The Tech Ambassador program was designed to encourage effective integration resources and systems through teacher training, curriculum development, and by incorporating successful research-based instructional methods that can be widely implemented as best practices.

The project was designed to take educators that were not necessary technical but had a willingness to learn new ways and implement them into their curriculum. The project was to first familiarize them with initial curriculum software based on District standards. Then once they had established a foundation would begin to develop digital content to use with their students and engage them into the learning process. During this process, they would share with their colleagues at their school centers. Here is a brief synopsis of what has been done during the past years.

Project Membership

This project is designed for certified elementary-level teachers from public and charter schools located in Palm Beach County Florida

The project sets out to select two teachers from your school to serve as integration mentors (technology)  and representatives (ambassadors), hence Tech Ambassadors. With this project, the focus is on integrating technology with the curriculum. This is not "technology" teaching the classroom but teachers using technology to teach the curriculum they are already teaching. This is not meant to replace anything but to engage instruction - it should be incorporated into instruction.
