Florida Inclusion Network
Our Mission: The Florida Inclusion Network (FIN) collaborates with all districts and schools to provide customized services and supports ensuring all students with disabilities have the same educational, social, and future opportunities as their peers.
In partnership with districts, FIN facilitates the implementation of inclusive best practices through:
- Data-driven, student-focused planning and problem-solving across districts and schools.
- Data-driven professional development and technical assistance to increase knowledge and skills of district and school personnel.
- Coaching and resources for district and school personnel to sustain inclusive best practices.
- Sharing information to build collaborative relationships between families, schools, and districts.
FIN Priority Goal: During the 2014-15 school year, FIN will work in collaboration with districts to build their capacity to increase regular class placement to 77%, decrease separate class placement to 10%, and decrease other separate environment placement to 2.00%, while supporting the increase in reading and math gains, and graduation rates of all students with disabilities across all districts. This will be accomplished by developing, implementing, and monitoring regional, district, and site-based FIN services plans statewide.
