Summer Hits Feature Dreyfoos Grads

This summer’s television line-up finds three Dreyfoos School of the Arts graduates living their passion. Joshua Harto, Dreyfoos class of 1997 and a former theatre major at Dreyfoos, has created, written and produced the hit series Memphis Beat on TNT, with his wife, Liz Garcia (Cold Case) and the famed George Clooney. Josh, cast as the self-important Bruce Wayne attorney, Coleman Reese, in last summer’s The Dark Knight and most recently playing the part of FBI agent Phillips with Samuel L. Jackson in Unthinkable (out on DVD) was a stand out in drama at Dreyfoos. No surprise Hollywood has taken note of his talent! Memphis Beat premiered June 22nd and can be seen on TNT Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m.

On the Lifetime network, look for Erin Krakow in the new hit series Army Wives. Erin is scheduled to appear beginning July 25th and will be in at least two additional episodes. Erin graduated from Dreyfoos at the top of her class in 2002 and went on to attend the Juilliard School, one of the world’s most prestigious performing arts conservatories.

Billy Bell is dancing for his ‘life’ on the Fox hit show So You Think You Can Dance. Billy continues to impress the judges with his leaps, kicks and beautiful lines and remains in the top six! Billy graduated from the Dreyfoos dance program in 2007 and currently also attends Julliard in New York City.
