April Luncheon for Minority, Women and Small Business Enterprises to Focus on Business Practices

Understanding the need to identify target markets and establishing SWOT analysis (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) will be one area of concentration when members of minority, women, and small business enterprises gather for lunch later this week. The Office of Diversity in Business Practices in collaboration with the Purchasing Department and the Facilities Management Division are hosting at their monthly luncheon Friday, April 1 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. in the Thurber Training Rooms of the Fulton Holland Educational Services Center and hope those who want to learn strategies to strengthen their business will participate. The luncheons are part of the District’s ongoing efforts to promote equity and build capacity for businesses to participate in opportunities available through the District and other area agencies.

Featured presenters will also highlight best practices for sustained growth of an enterprise. Speakers on the itinerary include Bob Bloom, president of Ink & Toner USA, LLC; Michael Arrington, president of ACY Contractors, LLC; and Michael Young, vice-president of ACY Contractors, LLC. The luncheon is free of charge but seating is limited. Please RSVP to Pushpa Husain, 561-434-8508 or email Husain@palmbeach.k12.fl.us
