Habitat for Humanity and Seminole Ridge High School Host Groundbreaking Ceremony

The partnership between Habitat for Humanity and the Seminole Ridge Community High School Construction Academy started with the first of four modular houses being built.  The Habitat Hawk House Ground Breaking Ceremony will take place on Friday September 16, 2011 10:30 a.m. Room 9107. Seminole Ridge High School is located at 4601 Seminole Pratt Whitney Rd., Loxahatchee, FL 33470.

The home will be constructed on the school campus and will be transported upon completion to a lot in the West Palm Beach area.  This unique project affords the academy students the hands on reality aspect of the course that so many of them thrive to experience in all phases of the construction industry.  National and local companies have volunteered their services to make this opportunity a reality for the students.  The project will be documented by photographs, video, and updates throughout the construction process.
