The School District of Palm Beach County is partnering with several community organizations to offer a Safety and Wellness Fair in order to equip students with the proper tools needed to enjoy a safe and healthy life.
When? Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Where? Forest Hill Community High School – 6901 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405
Various community organizations will be present to provide information and resources to the families. The goal of the event is to inform and educate youth from five to eighteen years of age about the benefits of a safe and healthy lifestyle. Free helmets will be distributed and there will be refreshments for all the attendees. The Safety and Wellness Fair is a fun event for the whole family and offers important tips about bicycle safety, eating healthy and much more.
The Safety and Wellness Fair is being presented by Safe Routes to School Coalition; Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities; Quantum Foundation; Nicklaus Children’s Health Care Foundation; Safe Kids Palm Beach County; Palm Healthcare Foundation, Inc.; Community Partnership Group; and the School District of Palm Beach County.
