Palm Beach County Alcohol Prevention Poster Contest Receives Major Contribution from Adobe Corporation

Adobe Corporation learned about the Palm Beach County Alcohol Prevention Poster Contest and was eager to support this project. Therefore, they are contributing additional prizes for the top six winners.

Each high school winner will receive the Adobe Photoshop Creative Suite 5.5 which retails for $1,899. Each middle and elementary school winner will receive the Adobe Photoshop Premier Elements which retails for $450.

“We are very thankful to Adobe for empowering our promising artists with the tools that will help them succeed. These are very generous gifts and we know that the students will greatly appreciate it,” said Linda Salzman, Manager Student Intervention Services.

Additionally, the top six winners (two elementary, two middle, and two high schools) will receive $100 each and their posters will be displayed on all school buses throughout the District. Semi-finalists will be featured at the 2012 South Florida Fair.

Students in all Palm Beach County schools are encouraged to participate in the 2nd Annual Palm Beach County Alcohol Prevention Poster Contest. Posters should promote a positive underage drinking prevention message along with an educational fact.

The deadline to submit all entries is Friday, December 9, 2011 at 11:59 p.m.
