Palm Beach County Students Learn to Practice Better Health Through Good Nutrition

In an effort to promote healthful eating along with physical activity and in conjunction with the National Nutrition Month®, the School Food Service Department has organized an educational health fair to be held at Palm Springs Middle School on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 10:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. 

This year’s them is: “Get Your Plate in Shape” eat right.® 

The health fair events will provide the students and staff of Palm Springs Middle School with an opportunity to view exciting health and wellness displays, receive educational materials, prizes, as well as free samples of colorful and tasty fruits and vegetables. 

A variety of booths will be available including Erneston & Sons Produce, Inc., School Food Service Department, GMG Tropical Fruits, Village of North Palm Beach Fire Rescue, Health Care District of Palm Beach County, Caridad Center, Drowning Prevention Coalition, District’s Employee Wellness, among many others.
