City of Riviera Beach Proclaims Special Day For Recent Suncoast High Graduate

During the past school year, Suncoast High student Abiade Granger noticed a basketball teammate choking from a two inch piece of chocolate candy.  Without hesitation, Mr. Granger came to the rescue of his fellow student and performed the Heimlich maneuver causing the candy to dislodge.
The City of Riviera Beach proclaimed May 23, 2012 has Abiade Khalid Philemon Granger Day and Mayor Thomas Masters presented the recent Suncoast High graduate a proclamation and key to the city.  Mr. Granger was also recognized by School District Officials and Suncoast High School Administrators.
Mr. Granger lettered in football, basketball and track and field at Suncoast and received a full scholarship to play football at Stony Brook University in Long Island, New York this fall.
