Media Advisory: Suncoast HS to Showcase Student’s Heritage, Proceeds to Benefit Puerto Rico

 

RIVIERA BEACH- Suncoast High School is capping its annual Heritage Week with a showcase of the dances and songs from the many cultures that make up their student population.
Two heritage assemblies will be held for students during the school day. The public is invited to attend the performance in the evening. Tickets are $5 each, and the proceeds will benefit Puerto Rico relief efforts.
WHEN: Friday, February 2
Student assemblies are at 9:10 a.m. and 10:25 a.m.
             Public assembly is at 6:30 p.m.

Heritage Week is an annual event at Suncoast High School. As an International Baccalaureate school, Suncoast promotes international mindedness. Proceeds from previous years have benefited schools in the slums of New Delhi, India, earthquake victims in Nepal and typhoon victims in the Philippines.
