One thousand students are expected to gather on the football field of Boca High School Thursday for the fourth annual Yoga Day.
Five students, who are certified yogis will be leading their classmates in downward dog and lotus flower poses to promote physical and mental health among the students.
WHEN: Thursday, February 8 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

The session will be lead by five Boca High School students who have earned their yoga certification through a no-cost certification class at the school. Boca High School offers four yoga classes led by teacher Catherine Payne.
One of the certified yoga instructors, Michael Gorlano, who is autistic, would like to teach yoga as his career after high school graduation.
For many students partaking in the event, it will be their first time taking the class, and it will be the first time that Yoga Day at the school will be student-led.
