School Board to Interview, Select Next Superintendent of Palm Beach County Schools

WEST PALM BEACH- The Palm Beach County School Board will hold a special meeting Wednesday to interview and select the School District of Palm Beach County’s next superintendent of schools.
The three finalists, Dr. David Christiansen, Dr. Donald Fennoy and Keith Oswald will each be interviewed by the Board during the public meeting.
WHAT: Special Meeting for Superintendent Search
WHEN: Wednesday, March 7 beginning at 3 p.m.
                 3:15 p.m.* Interview First Candidate:  David Christiansen

4:30 p.m.*   Interview Second Candidate:  Donald Fennoy

5:45 p.m.* Interview Third Candidate:  Keith Oswald

The final selection process and vote on the selected candidate is tentatively scheduled for 7 p.m.

Immediately following the meeting adjournment, the selected candidate will hold a press conference in the cafeteria of Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center to discuss his selection.

B-roll of the candidate during his time in Palm Beach County will be made available upon the announcement of the selection. One-on-one interviews will be scheduled with news outlets in the days after Wednesday’s meeting.

The Board is scheduled to approve the new contract on Wednesday, March 14. The next superintendent will be sworn in at a later date.
