WEST PALM BEACH- If you haven’t yet downloaded the School District of Palm Beach County app, now is the time.
All of the information you need for the school year is available at the touch of a finger, and now the app can be personalized to receive the communication you need directly from your child’s school.
Originally launched for the start of school last year, the app provides school lunch menus, bus route information, a staff directory, registration information, and even the ability to pay school fees on your phone at anytime.
Now, with the launch of the newly re-designed school websites, all schools’ sites are mobile-responsive and easier to navigate through the app. Users can also log in to the new Student Information System (SIS) Gateway to check on students grades and attendance in a mobile-friendly platform.
Also new this school year, schools can push news and emergency notifications to users who have elected to receive updates from their school. Parents can also check school calendars and sync important events to their calendar on their phone. To select which schools you’d like to subscribe to, go to Settings in the app.
