Application Deadline Extended for MSAP Schools

The deadline to apply for schools awarded the MSAP (Magnet Schools Assistance Program) grant has been extended.

The School District of Palm Beach County was one of only nine school districts in the nation to receive the grant. The three–year award totaling more than $11 million is being used to transform five schools into school-wide magnet programs.

Each magnet theme offers a high caliber, innovative program of choice designed to improve the quality of teaching and learning. The grant is funding a 1:1 iPad initiative for all teachers and students in each of the five magnet schools and is being used to strategically recruit and create diverse student populations in the magnet schools of choice.

Due to the ongoing implementation of technology in these five schools, the application deadline for their Choice Programs has been extended. To learn more about each of these exciting programs and how to apply, please click here.
