The Palm Beach County Library System is offering a FREE tutoring service to students to help them with their schoolwork. Students will need an active library card to use and access the service.
Students who don’t have a library card can click this link to sign up for a temporary free E-Card that will be valid until July 1, 2020. After that date, students can visit any PBC Library System branch to convert their E-Card into a full-access library card.
Once a student has their library card, they can create a free account at Tutor.com. The site’s Live Homework Help is staffed by certified tutors who can help K-12 students with a range of subjects including math, science, social studies, and language arts.
Live one-to-one help is available seven days a week from 12:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Assistance is provided in Spanish seven days a week from 2:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. Students can also use their e-card to access e-books, e-movies, e-magazines, and e-music. Visit the Virtual Library to learn more.
