The Department of Adult and Community Education (ACE) offers day and evening classes at 25 Adult Education sites, 1 virtual site, and 7 satellite sites throughout the School District of Palm Beach County. On August 26, thousands of adult students will be heading back to the classroom for their first day of school.

A variety of classes are available, including English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), Citizenship classes, courses for anyone who wants to complete their General Education Development (GED), or those interested in a Pre-Apprenticeship program. Adults can also participate in several Fun and Leisure classes, including dance, fitness, music lessons, as well as arts and crafts.

“We want to assist you with your lifelong learning goals,” said Fred Barch, Director of Adult & Community Education. “Whether it’s getting your GED, learning English, earning an industry certification, or attending one of our fun and leisure classes, we are here to help.”

The ACE serves more than 30,000 adult students each year. Fall classes run from August 26 through December 13. For more information, visit the Adult and Community Education website.

Stay up-to-date by visiting their Facebook page, following them on Twitter, or contacting a school in your neighborhood for details on any classes offered at that location.
