
Teams of students from Palm Beach County schools will present their innovative social solutions during a “Shark Tank-style” Philanthropy Tank Pitch Event on Sunday, March 10, and this year, the school with the most attendees at the event will win $1,000.
The event, at the Kravis Center from 3 to 5 p.m., will feature teams of young entrepreneurs pitching their solutions to a panel of four Philanthropist-Investors. Philanthropy Tank awards students up to $15,000 in funding and one year of mentoring, for creating or expanding an existing project that benefits the community.
This year’s teams of entrepreneurs are from:
• Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts
• John I. Leonard High School
• Lake Worth Community High School
• Omni Middle School
• Spanish River Community High School
• Suncoast High School
• Wellington Community High School
