The Education Foundation of Palm Beach County's annual Heroes for Education 5K is returning to Lake Worth Beach’s Bryant Park on Saturday, November 2 where hundreds of runners, walkers, sponsors, and volunteers will show up in sneakers and sports gear to raise awareness and funds for students in Palm Beach County public schools.

The ultimate goal for the event is to gather the community together in support of high-quality public education so that all students will successfully cross their biggest finish line – graduation – as they race ahead into a bright future.

Funds raised from the Heroes for Education 5K directly support Foundation programs. Heroes Awards will be awarded for an elementary, middle, and high school with the most race participants registered, as well as for the fastest race teams.

Registration is currently open at $35 for runners/walkers. Students, teachers, and school district employees can register for $20. Children 12 and under may register for a Fun Run and 100 Yard Dash at a minimal cost.

Participants are encouraged to form teams, set a team fundraising goal, and show their superhero support on race day. Register online today to help support students, teachers, and public schools in Palm Beach County!
