Virtual College Tour

In early October, students will have a chance to get more familiar with the 12 different State University System (SUS) schools in Florida through the District’s Virtual College Tour, leading up to the collaborative Virtual College and Career Fair on Wednesday, October 21.

The Virtual College and Career Fair on October 21, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., will feature information sessions on college admissions, FAFSA, scholarships, careers, and video chats with Florida colleges and universities. Register here.

With students mostly unable to physically tour a college or university due to COVID-19-related visitor restrictions, schools are offering these virtual tours to give prospective students the ability to explore campus, hear about academic programs, as well as to understand the unique opportunities and requirements that vary from one school to the next throughout Florida.

Virtual tours will take you on a “walk” through campus with 360-degree views inside certain buildings, paired with an informative narration about the programs and opportunities the school provides. You do not need to create an account or register to access the virtual tours on youvisit.com. Simply press the ‘x’ on the top right corner of the ‘Get Started!’ page to proceed to the tour.

The District will highlight a different public college or university in Florida each weekday on social media, starting on Monday, October 5, leading up to the Virtual College and Career Fair on Wednesday, October 21. Follow along on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
