
The Department of Safe Schools, in collaboration with the State Attorney’s Office, is holding four regional town halls to discuss a variety of topics including the dangers of vaping, sexting, bullying, and making school threats.
“We’ve been hearing from parents saying they need help on these issues,” Ruthe Francis, Manager of the Department of Safe Schools said. “We want to be a resource for parents. We want them to know where to turn to and what we are doing in our schools to keep students safe.”
Parents and community members are invited to attend a town hall in their region.
- Glades Region: Glades Central High School- September 11, 6-8 p.m.
- South Region: Atlantic Community High School- October 3, 6-8 p.m.
- North Region: Palm Beach Gardens High School- November 7, 6-8 p.m.
- Central Region: Wellington High School- December 2, 6-8 p.m.
