Advisory Boundary Committee (ABC)
Advisory Boundary Committee (ABC) is made up of appointed volunteers from the community, who meet on a regular basis to review enrollment projections, demographic trends and proposals for boundary changes per School Board Policies 5.01 and 5.012. During the year, the ABC Committee provides recommendations to the Superintendent. School Board members are responsible for making final decisions about adjusting and/or creating school boundaries. This review process occurs on an annual basis beginning in March and is overseen by the Manager and staff of the Boundaries & Demographics Section.
The first ABC meeting of the 2019-20 Boundary Cycle will be held on November 15, 2018 at 6:30 PM in the Board Room at the Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center at 3300 Forest Hill Blvd., West Palm Beach, FL 33406. Entrance to the Board Room is on the West side of the facility - C Wing. Click here for Directions.
Community Input Meetings will occur after initial boundary proposals have been voted on by ABC members to take out for community input. Dates, times and locations of Community Input Meetings will be posted on the Boundaries web page.
The ABC members wish to thank Jose Barrios of Costco-Lantana for providing donations of food for each meeting. Costco-Lantana has been a generous business partner with the ABC for over seven years.
