All category 1 and 2 employees are required to take initial Bloodborne Pathogens training and a yearly refresher thereafter.

ANNUAL REFRESHER TRAINING

Training takes place each year between January and March.  The Bloodborne Pathogens Refresher Course is offered via eLearning to all employees in job categories 1 and 2 of the Exposure Control Plan.  Each school/department has a designated contact person for the Bloodborne Pathogen Refresher Course.

All training must be completed between February and April of each year.  Contact Risk & Benefits Management at 561.357.7578 (PX 47578)

Employees transferring into a covered position should receive Bloodborne Pathogen training and be offered the Hepatitis B series at the completion of that training.
