To provide secondary school students opportunities to develop higher standards of mental, moral, social and physical fitness through participation in extracurricular athletic programs. These activities function as part of the total educational curriculum to strive for the development of well-rounded individuals with positive citizenship traits.

For Students

* Eligibility Packets, including physical forms, must be completed before any student may compete in athletic programs.

PHYSICAL FORMS to be completed by a physician and RELEASE FORMS to be completed by parents may be found, selecting For Students and Parents; under Forms, EL2 Physical and EL3 Consent.

* It is best, if possible, to pick up complete packets at your student's school. These may contain additional forms, either NEW to the packet or specific to each school's situation.

For Athletic Coaches

All coaches must possess, by Florida State Statute, either a Florida Dept. of Education Teaching Certificate or an Athletic Coaching Certificate. All coaches must also be trained in CPR/AED (renewed yearly) and First AID (renewed every other year.)
