Career Opportunities

Over one hundred uniformed police officers are assigned to schools throughout Palm Beach County. These officers are responsible for campus patrol, initial case investigations, subsequent follow-up, and, when necessary, making arrests. Additionally, the officers provide classroom presentations, counsel students and parents, engage students through mentoring, and serve as positive role models to help promote healthy relationships between youth and law enforcement.

The Palm Beach County School District Police Department also employs Police Aides for school sites, as well as clerical staff for various positions at our headquarters, based at the Fulton-Holland Educational Services Center Building.

When you arrive at the "Careers" homepage, click on "View All Jobs".

In the left column, under "Department", select "More".

Scroll down and select "School Police".

In the right column, scroll down to review all of the positions currently available. If you are interested in learning more about a position, click the arrow box on the right side of the screen.
