The Summer Food Service Program will begin again June 5, 2018 in most locations (check your location, starting times vary)
All children up through age 18 are eligible for nutritious breakfast and lunch meals at no charge. There is no application necessary and any child age 18 or younger can simply come during meal times to receive a free meal.
The programs are approved for geographical areas of need where 50 percent or more of the children qualify for free and reduced price meals during the school year.
Summer Food Service sites provide meals to all children in the immediate vicinity of the school, in addition to those enrolled in summer school/camp.
In addition to the school sites, Summer Food Service was provided to the Mandel West Palm Beach Library and seven Palm Beach County Libraries.
