Departmental Objective:

Develop and Implement Professional Development Expectations, Training and Tracking - 2 of 2 years

This year the Professional Development team worked with the Districts Professional Development Department to move manager in-service training to eLearning. Training was provided on how to enroll in the PDD/Monthly Meetings to all managers and SFS employees. For this first year we conducted group trainings allowing each cafeteria manager to conduct the training and have each staff member sign an attendance roster.  This became a difficult task for the central office to match signature sheets with enrollment in eLearning.  Next year we are moving forward with individual training for SFS employees in eLearning. By having each employee complete the trainings individually in eLearning we will be able to better track the required hours for each staff member and thereby not have to match signatures to attendance rosters.
