Entries are now being accepted for the 7th Annual Alcohol Prevention Poster Contest, in which students have the opportunity to compete for two $1,000 scholarships, have their work featured on school buses and on display during the 2017 South Florida Fair.

Students in grades K-12 are invited to take part in the 2016 Doodle 4 Google contest, and create a doodle that tells the world “What I see for the future.” Young artists are invited to reach into their imagination and share what they see for the future. The winner’s artwork will be featured on the Google homepage. Each doodle must incorporate the letters G-o-o-g-l-e. One national winner will also receive a $30,000 college scholarship. Deadline: December 2, 2016.
The Palm Beach International Film Festival's Student Showcase of Films is the largest statewide film competition and awards show for Florida student filmmakers. The juried competition recognizes outstanding high school and college students by presenting more than $12,000 in scholarships and awards in the following categories: Feature/Shorts, Documentary, Animation, Music Video, Commercial/PSA, Environmental PSA, Mental Health Awareness PSA, Screenwriting and a Poster Design competition. Deadline for Submissions: January 18, 2017
