Emotional Support

The District also operates a Mental Health Assistance line at (561) 432-6389. Staff is available to assist Monday to Friday,  8:00am - 4:30pm.
Immediate mental health support is also available 24/7 by calling 2-1-1.
Concern over COVID-19 may make children and families feel anxious. It is important to remember that children look to adults for guidance on how to react to stressful events. Therefore, it is important that when experiencing increased feelings of stress and anxiety that both adults and children take care of their emotional well-being. If needed, mental health support may be immediately found by calling 2-1-1. School staff and school mental health providers (School Counselors, School Psychologists and School Behavioral Health Professionals) will also be working remotely to support students.
