ESOL Courses for Adults

Adult students in a classroom setting

English For Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) is an educational program to help adult students learn English. We offer ESOL classes all year. Adult ESOL programs are offered in our community schools, the Adult Education Center, several satellite sites, and online. Some of the skills covered in ESOL classes are listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

At most sites, students can begin classes whenever they are ready. You are encouraged to attend on a regular basis in order to learn English faster.

The Governor and the Florida Commissioner of Education announced that school closures have been extended until further notice. If you were enrolled in classes during the 2020 Winter Term, check your email and phone messages for distance learning instructions. Please contact your school if you have any questions or need assistance.

New students will be notified when registration re-opens. If you would like to be contacted, click here and someone will reach out to you.
