Accommodations

Accommodations for Students with Disabilities

What are GED® Test Accomodations?

GED Testing Services provides reasonable and appropriate accommodations to individuals with documented disabilities who demonstrate a need for accommodations.

Test accommodations are individualized and considered on a case-by-case basis.

All GED® candidates who are requesting accommodations because of a disability must provide appropriate documentation of their condition and how it is expected to affect their ability to take the GED® test under standard conditions.

Give Yourself Enough Time
You should try to submit your request for accommodations no less than 60 days prior to your desired GED® test date. This way, if your request is incomplete and we need additional documentation from you, you will still have enough time to submit the additional materials for our review. Keep in mind that each request is individually, thoroughly reviewed, and this takes time.
