***STUDENTS IN HOME EDUCATION DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE ANY ASSESSMENTS.***
FSA/EOC
Taking the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS), Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) or End-of-Course Exam (EOC) is one of 5 options for satisfying the annual evaluation for home education students. Home education students must pre-register with the Home Education Office to take these exams. Please see the
registration deadlines
.
If a home education student enrolls in a public school within the School District of Palm Beach County they will not need to take the EOC to earn credit, except for the Algebra 1 EOC (for diploma requirement) according to Florida Statute
1003.4282 (7)
. If a student takes a second semester of an EOC course in public school they will be required to take the EOC to earn credit if they return to public school.
PBC School Day PSAT/SAT
To register students for the PBC School Day PSAT or SAT please email

. Applicable fees are the responsibility of the parent/guardian.
AP Exams
To register for an AP Exam use the
AP Course Ledger
to look up nearby testing institutions or contact your
zoned school
. Students will receive registration instructions from the testing location. Please contact the institution or zoned school by the

PBC School Day PERT
To register students for the PBC School Day PERT please contact the testing coordinator at your
zoned school
