Updates to the School Meal Program for the 2026-2027 School Year
Beginning August 10, 2026, meal costs will vary by school. School Food Service provides meals at all School District-operated schools as well as some charter schools in Palm Beach County.
At most schools, breakfast and lunch will remain free for all students. At the schools where payment will be required, families may submit an application for Free and Reduced-price Meals starting in mid-July 2026. Meal benefits are determined based on income and family size. Applications for benefits for the 2026-2027 school year are now available.

Breakfast: $2.50
Lunch Elementary/K-8 Schools: $3.50
Lunch Middle/High Schools: $3.75
Reduced-price Breakfast: $.30
Reduced-price Lunch: $.40
