Flu Information

Flu vaccines are administered at a variety of places such as: private physician's offices, walk-in clinics, pharmacies, health departments, by their employer (employee health division), and college/university’s health clinic. Parents can also contact their insurance provider to see where the vaccine is covered under their insurance plan.

A good resource is the CDC “Flu Shot Finder” page.

Parents without insurance may take their children to a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or the Health Department.

For those with health insurance, there is generally no co-pay for a child to get a flu shot.
