Palm Beach Virtual School Full-Time
Palm Beach Virtual School Full-Time is a public school education option for students pursuing a Florida high school diploma. Full-time students complete a full schedule of virtual courses from home in a cohorted whole-school experience, following the Palm Beach County School District calendar. Students learn asynchronously with Florida-certified teachers who work for the School District of Palm Beach County, creating a connected school community while maintaining flexibility.

The enrollment windows for the 2026-2027 school year are as follows:
K-5 full-time is open April 15, 2026, through July 13, 2026
6-12 full-time is open April 15, 2026, through August 7, 2026
Key Requirements
- State Assessments: Students in grades K-12 are required to participate in statewide assessments throughout the school year. In-person testing occurs in September, December, April, and May and includes Progress Monitoring 1, 2, and 3 for grades 3-8 Math and 3-10 ELA, grades 5 and 8 Science, grades 4-10 writing, FCLE for Government, and End-of-Course (EOC) exams for M/J Civics, Algebra 1, Geometry, Biology, and US History.
- Weekly Progress: Students consistently meet school-wide weekly activity and assignment deadlines.
- Full-Time Commitment: Students dedicate approximately 4-6 hours daily to self-directed coursework while maintaining a full course load as determined by the school.
- Parent or Guardian Support: An adult at home is responsible for monitoring student progress and providing support.
- Orientation: Eligible students and a parent or guardian attend a mandatory in-person orientation session in late July or early August.
