Controlled Open Enrollment
What is Controlled Open Enrollment?
Controlled Open Enrollment allows students to apply for and attend a school outside their regular attendance zone. Pursuant to F.S. 1002.31, the SDPBC will allow a parent from any school district in the state of Florida whose child is not subject to a current expulsion or suspension, to apply for an assignment to an available school for the following school year. Only schools offered in the application and on the approved list will be considered. If you do not see your school on the list of schools, you may not apply to attend.*
*You may not apply for a school in the attendance zone you currently reside.

Online application submission is available at www.mypbchoiceapp.com from April 20, 2026 to May 22, 2026.
