Controlled Open Enrollment 2026-2027 School Year

Your Child Belongs Here. Apply for Admission into More Than 100 Schools in “A” Rated School District of Palm Beach County

We invite your family to check out the exceptional educational opportunities available in Palm Beach County schools. The School District of Palm Beach County is one of only 13 academically high-performing school districts in the state of Florida. We hold an “A” rating from the Florida Department of Education, a 96.7% graduation rate, and full accreditation from Cognia, the world's largest education accrediting body.

If you are looking for a great school for your child, you’ll find it in the The School District of Palm Beach County. Through Controlled Open Enrollment, your family can apply for a seat at any participating school with available capacity, regardless of where you live. You are not limited to your zoned school, and any family residing anywhere in Florida may apply.

How to apply:

  • Applications open April 20 and close May 22 for the 2026-2027 school year
  • Select up to three schools in order of preference
  • When a school receives more applications than available seats, assignments are made through a lottery
  • Results are released on or before June 2, 2026

Ready to apply? Submit your application at MyPBChoiceApp.com. Only the schools shown in the tiles below are participating this year.
