Student Reassignment - Provisional Application 

The student reassignment application window is open from June 3, 2026  through July 31, 2026.

Important Guidelines

• School Availability: The schools listed on this page are strictly limited to the specific reasons listed on the previous page. If your situation does not match one of these strict categories, do not apply here. Your application will be denied. Please go back to the Standard Reassignment Pathway Schools page to select an available school.
• Review Process: Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed to ensure they meet school district policy and eligibility criteria. Allow 2-3 weeks for processing during the summer break.
• Notifications: Once your application is reviewed, you will receive an email notification. If your request is approved, you will receive next steps. If it is denied, the email will explain why.
• Employee - Feeder School Requests: In accordance with the CTA Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and District Guidelines, the schools on this list are currently meeting or exceeding 100% enrollment capacity. As a result, these schools are strictly unavailable for Employee Feeder requests, and any applications submitted for these locations will be automatically denied. View the list of unavailable schools
