Clinic Guidelines

    1. The clinic is intended for first aid and emergencies only. It is not a place for rest, relaxation, or nap.
    2. Students must obtain a pass from their teacher or AP prior to going to the clinic.
    3. Permission to go home must be given by the administration and by the parent. Parents must provide transportation home; fellow students may not provide such transportation.
    4. The clinic is located in Student Administration.
    5. No medication of any kind is available in the clinic.
    6. All medications, provided by the parents, including over the counter medicine, must be kept in the Health room and be administered by the nurse or other authorized staff. All of these medications must have a Physician’s Authorization in order to be dispensed. The Authorizations are good for one school year. All medication must be transported by parent or authorized adult.
    7. Epipens and inhalers must have a Physicians Authorization on file in the Health room to be carried by student on campus.

    9. IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT EVERY STUDENT KNOWS WHERE AND HOW TO REACH HIS/HER PARENT AT ALL TIMES IN THE EVENT OF ILLNESS OR MEDICAL EMERGENCY (According to Directive D-5.071)
