IB DP Programme at RPBHS

The DP Curriculum at RPBHS
IB Diploma candidates take one course from each of the six groups of study in the DP.
They enroll in at least three Higher Level Courses (HL) and three Standard Level Courses (SL) over the course of two years (11th and 12th).

Three Core Requirements:THEORY OF KNOWLEDGE is a course designed to encourage each student to reflect on the nature of knowledge by critically examining different ways of knowing (perception, emotion, language and reason) and different kinds of knowledge (scientific, artistic, mathematical and historical).
EXTENDED ESSAY is a requirement for students to engage in independent research through an in-depth study of questions relating to one of the subjects they are studying.
CREATIVITY, ACTIVITY, SERVICE requires that students actively learn from the experience of doing real tasks beyond the classroom. while reflecting on their learning experiences.
IB DP model
