Meet Mr. Ricky Clark: JFK Principal

  • My name is Ricky Clark.  I have been with the School District of Palm Beach County for 17 years. During this time, I have held positions as a science teacher, geography teacher, assistant principal, and now Principal of John F. Kennedy Middle School.

One of my accomplishments includes growing John I. Leonard Community High School’s  International Certificate Education (AICE) accelerated program from 139 to 1,430 students enrolled over a short four years.  Additionally, under my leadership, I increased the number of minority students taking and passing college credit courses before they graduated high school.

Some of my hobbies include family vacations, love of sports, and as my family calls it “investigative missions!”

My vision as an educator is to provide each student with a world-class education that will allow them to be productive citizens and live comfortably.

As the Principal of John F. Kennedy Middle School, I look forward to:

    • building relationships with all stakeholders
    • strengthening our International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program (IB MYP)
    • growing our AVID program to support learning
    • increasing field trips per grade level to concrete knowledge
    • rewarding students for academic success

I am extremely pleased to be a part of the Viking family.  Together, we will continue moving our young Vikings to greater success.

    Collegially Yours,

    Ricky D. Clark
