Dress Code

  •  A school dress code promotes inclusiveness, safety, and allows students to dress in a manner that builds a sense of school pride and a culture of academic excellence. We ask our Vikings to adhere to the school dress code that has been approved by our School Advisory Committee. 

    K-5 Dress Code

    • Any solid color polo shirt
    • Any Verde shirt or Verde PE athletic wear
    • Black, navy blue, or khaki shorts or pants 
    • Black, navy blue, khaki, or plaid skirts, skorts, jumpers, or dresses
    • NO jeans or denim
    • Leggings ONLY under skirts or dresses
    • Closed toe athletic shoes with socks

    6-8 Dress Code

    • Any solid color polo shirt
    • Any Verde shirt or Verde PE athletic wear
    • Any solid color shorts or pants
    • Any solid color or plaid skirts, skorts or dresses
    • Solid color denim jeans with NO holes, tears, or rips
    • Leggings ONLY under skirts or dresses
    • Closed toe athletic shoes with socks

    Prior to the first written reminder, the teacher will speak to the student and/or parent/guardian. 

    First Reminder: Warning sent home

    Second Reminder: Warning sent home requiring parent signature

    Third Reminder: Student/Front Office will call home and parent will need to come with a change of clothes
