  • Florida Skills USA

    SkillsUSA is a nationally recognized program that serves as a partnership between students, teachers, and industry to ensure that America has a skilled workforce. A collaboration of these parties provides students with the opportunity to apply and practice quality work in their prospective fields. SkillsUSA promotes teamwork, leadership, citizenship and character development. It builds and reinforces work attitude, and communication skills. It emphasizes total quality at work-high ethical standards, superior work skills, life-long education, and pride in the dignity of work. SkillsUSA is comprised of over 350,000 students nationwide.

    National Technical Honor Society

    The National Technical Honor Society currently serves approximately 100,000 active members and nearly a million members since its inception in 1984. Awarding over $1.7 million in scholarships to date, NTHS honors the achievements of top CTE students, provides scholarships to encourage the pursuit of higher education, and cultivates excellence in today’s highly competitive, skilled workforce. For over 30 years, NTHS has been the acknowledged leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. NTHS Membership Standards: Students must attain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (unweighted). Students must be enrolled in a career/technical education program or major.

    National Adult Education Honor Society

    The mission of the National Adult Education Honor Society is to provide meaningful recognition to deserving adult education students, to improve student employment opportunities, to develop student ambassadors for local adult education programs and to create adult education awareness with school administrators and state legislators.
