The following dress code will go into effect at the beginning of the 2024 academic school year. All students are expected to adhere to the dress code while on campus.

Shirts

• Permitted
  
  • Polo style collared shirt
  • Tradewinds Middle School T-Shirt
  • Any College/University logo shirt
  • Solid Color T-shirt
• Not Permitted
  
  • Sleeveless
  • No Graphic T-shirts
  • Midriff revealing / see-through clothing
  • Vulgar, drug-related words
  • Pajamas

Pants, Capris, Shorts, Skorts

• Permitted
  
  • Docker style pants or jeans
  • Pants must be worn at the waist
  • Shorts, skorts or skirts must be longer than an arm’s length to the knee
  • Sweat pants
• Not Permitted
  
  • Rips, holes, exposing excessive skin (No excessive rips)
  • Athletic style shorts or pants
  • Low rise pants, pajama bottoms, leggings, tights
  • No yoga pants

Shoes

• Permitted
  
  • Closed toe and heel
  • Sneakers/athletic shoes preferred
  • Crocs
• Not Permitted
  
  • Sandals, slippers, flip flops, slides
  • High-heeled shoes (safety)

Jackets, Sweaters

• Permitted
  
  • TMS Hoodie or Sweatshirt only
  • An approved shirt must be worn underneath
• Not Permitted
  
  • Inappropriate pictures, words or slogans are prohibited

General

IDs must be in visible possession at all times.

• Not Permitted
  
  • Hats, caps, bandanas, headbands with animal ears/extreme decorations
  • Sunglasses
  • Exposed Undergarments
  • No offensive language or symbols
