Join the Parent, Teacher & Student Association (PTSA)

Membership - The #1 reason to join the PTSA is to benefit your child! In doing so, you also help our school. Your $12 membership provides support in many ways such as school programs & events, advocacy, information sharing, educational resources, networking, and so much more! PTSA Membership gives you a vote, and a voice, in the Suncoast High School PTSA General Meetings. Scholarships are available to student PTSA Members!
Our Mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. We are a part of the Florida PTA and National PTA, and the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation.

Volunteering your time is optional!! Parents, grandparents, students, teachers, friends, and community members are all welcome to join Suncoast High School PTSA. Visit the Suncoast PTSA website to join today.

General Assembly Meetings - The PTSA meets three times per year, typically in September, February, and May. All are welcome to attend. Our calendar is available on our website. Join our newsletter mailing list to receive General Assembly Meeting reminders to your inbox! Sign up here!
*Only current PTSA members are eligible to vote on minutes, elections, and by-laws.

Family Workshops - Family Workshops are scheduled after each General Assembly and throughout the school year presented by our Guidance Team, Suncoast Staff and Business Partners on a variety of topics including College Applications, Test Prep, Course Selection and more. PTSA Spirit Store - Our Spirit Store is the place for all your Suncoast spirit-wear! Show off your Charger-pride and shop for t-shirts, car magnets, accessories, and more. Shop online at any time.
You will receive an email when your order is ready. Students may pick up online orders on select Fridays in the Courtyard during lunch time. For Spirit Store hours, please refer to our online calendar on our website, or check our social media pages.

Volunteer! We have many volunteer opportunities available throughout the year at Suncoast. Whether you’d like to volunteer your time at events during the school year, join a committee, be a committee chair, or become a board member-we’d love to have you join our team! To be included in volunteer opportunity emails and added to our SignUp Genius notifications, send an email to volunteers@suncoastptsa.org.

Business Partners - We welcome local businesses who would like to support our efforts with monetary assistance or in-kind donations. We provide acknowledgement in our school newsletter and social media pages, and an opportunity to present at our Family Workshops.
