Campus Entrance Instructions

  • No Early Drop off.
    Pursuant to Florida Statue 1003.31;
    Supervision Available Between 7:30 A.m. and 2:35 P.m. (30 Minutes Before and 30 Minutes After School Hours During Regular School Days Only.)

    Access to the main office is from the north parking lot. Please enter from Maplewood Drive. You may walk in at the entrance to the left of the gate, where you will need to be buzzed in. We’d like to remind you that students must be in their classroom no later than 8:00 a.m. or they must be brought to the main office for admittance. All other entrances will be locked promptly at 8:00 a.m., as support personnel are on duty until 8:00 a.m. only.

Dismissal

  • As suggested by School Police:

    • No pedestrian entrance will be allowed from 1:50-2:30 p.m. at the Maplewood driveway. This is NOT a pick-up entrance.
    • Toney Penna is the ONLY entrance.
    • School Police will be enforcing this rule.

    Early Dismissal

    • Students can only be released with written permission from a parent or guardian. Children picked up before dismissal must be signed out in the office. Office personnel will call for your child. Please sit and wait for your child in the front office, as children may not be picked up directly from the classroom during the school day. This is for your child's protection. Students will NOT be released between 1:30 and 2:05, as this disrupts our afternoon dismissal and other end-of-day activities.

  • Late Arrival Information

    • The adults on duty at student drop off in the morning must leave the area at 8 o’clock to cover other responsibilities. By that time all children should be in the classroom, ready to begin their instructional day.

      If you arrive at or after the 8 o’clock bell, your child is considered tardy. After 8:00 a.m., you must report to the office for a tardy slip. You may not discharge your child on the sidewalk and allow your child to enter with other people, adults or children. Support staff and patrols are no longer on campus duty.

      The best way to avoid any problems is to have your child here on campus before 7:50 a.m. Your child would benefit by starting the day in an informed, organized and calm manner. Thank you for your cooperation and support in developing good habits for your child.

  • Parking Procedures

    • Please do NOT park in any Handicap Parking space unless you are eligible to do so. The spaces are clearly marked and should not be used when dropping off or picking up students. Authorized vehicles must visibly display a Handicap tag.

      Parents, please remember NOT TO PARK ACROSS THE STREET in the Loxahatchee Business Plaza or next door at the 7 Kings plaza, then walk your children over to the school. Either stay in the car drop off and pick up line or park in the school parking lot.
