New Horizons Elementary is a Choice School and is proud to offer a Dual Language Immersion program that exposes children to both English and Spanish languages from Kindergarten through Fifth grade. New Horizons has the honor of being recognized by the Education Consulate through the Ministry of Spain as one of only three International Spanish Academies in Palm Beach County. New Horizons was also recently recognized as the 3rd best International Spanish Academy in all of North America. 

This highly successful program immerses students in both languages through content instruction and cultural experiences with the goal of students becoming fully bilingual, biliterate, and bicultural. Students enrolled in this program receive Reading and Writing instruction in both English and Spanish, Mathematics in English, and Science and Social Studies exclusively in Spanish.

New Horizons also offers a Dual Language Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) class. Registration in this fee-based program can be completed in the school's Main Office daily from 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Students in this program will experience a similar Dual Language Immersion program as students enrolled in our Kindergarten through Fifth Grade International Spanish Academy. Special preference will be given to applicants whose sibling is already enrolled in our International Spanish Academy. Otherwise, students will be accepted in the program in the order they apply on a first come first served basis.
