Clubs and Extracurricular Activities

  • Chorus

The Seminole Trails Panther Chorus is an auditioned group of 4th and 5th graders. These students perform a variety of musical styles for ceremonies and concerts. The concert season runs from October-April with the Winter Concert and Talent Show as their highlighted performances. All students who love to sing are strongly encouraged to become an important voice in the Panther Chorus.

    Leadership

Leadership Club is a program sponsored by TeamWorK USA. This program gives 6 nominated students in grades 3-5 a scholarship to college. Students get nominated by exhibiting leadership qualities and skills by teachers throughout the school. The club meets twice a month during the duration of the school year. During our meetings, we often learn about how to be a leader and what makes leaders great. We then put those skills to use on our school campus by being role models to other students. In addition, Leadership Club has taken on the challenge to help our school become a Green School. This past year, 2017-18, we received the title of a Green School of Excellence. At Seminole Trails, we value the hard work and perseverance of our future leaders.

    Safety Patrol

The Safety Patrol is a select group of Fifth Graders that are committed to providing a safe school environment for all students at Seminole Trails Elementary. A Safety Patrol member should always be an AVID learner and leader. Duties  monitoring halls, greeting students and visitors, and helping to escort our Pre-K panthers to class.

    SECME

SECME is an after school club that meets twice a month. This club is full of students with all types of talents and a love for science and engineering. During our meetings, we collaborate and build mousetrap cars, bridges, water bottle rockets, and more. The SECME team takes their builds to a competition and competes against other elementary students in the district. Seminole Trails grows their own future engineers with this club!
