  • Pre–Information Technology

    The Pre–Information Technology Program offers an innovative, integrated learning environment focused on computers, technology and communications. Students who participate in a Pre–Information Technology acquire foundational knowledge and skills in basic programming techniques, software and web development, and emerging digital technologies. Emphasis is placed on a college preparatory curriculum directly linked  to career pathways in the IT career cluster.

    *Village Academy is a unique public-school model that is designed to provide a continuous and nurturing educational experience for students in a small-school continuum environment. Students who participate in this Pre–Information Technology Academy will learn about digital information technology, basic computer programming techniques, and foundations of software and web development. The program provides students with opportunities to build foundational knowledge and skills suitable for pursuing higher–level IT programs. 

    Small School Continuum

    The Small School Continuum at Village Academy is a unique school model that is designed to provide a continuous and nurturing educational experience for students in a small school environment. Located on one school campus, Village Academy students in kindergarten through grade 12 participate in a continuum of experiences in Information Technology and Geospatial Technology, including preparation for future careers in urban planning, engineering, medicine, mathematics, chemistry, meteorology, physics, oceanography, data science, business, law, and humanities.
