Clubs & Extracurricular Activities

  • The Frontier Morning Mile Club is a vibrant and energetic program that brings a burst of enthusiasm to the start of every Wednesday. Designed to promote physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle among young students, this club gathers eager participants before the school bell rings from 7:00 a.m. to 7:40 a.m. Students not only improve physical and health-related fitness, but data shows that morning exercise boosts cognitive function, which can lead to improved academics. The morning mile club rewards students for distance and attendance milestones and gets a chance to participate in future countywide run/walk events to represent Frontier Elementary. Sign-ups for the Morning Mile Club are in August and January of each school year.
