Students in the Pre-Medical Academy take a medical elective and an accelerated science class each year.

6th grade:
* Orientation to Health Occupations - covers safety, the history of medicine, employability, intro to medical careers, wellness, medical math, and nutrition
* Advanced Accelerated Science  I - covers all of 6th grade and half of 8th grade concepts (chemistry, biochemistry, energy)

7th grade:
* Exploration of Health Science Professions  - covers anatomy and physiology, related careers, first aid/CPR, and career planning
* Advanced Accelerated Science II - covers all of 7th grade and the remaining half of 8th grade concepts (astronomy)

8th grade:
* Medical Skills and Services - This high school credit class develops career-specific skills (such as CPR certification, health screenings, patient care & ambulation, etc.) as well as introduces students to legal issues, mental health, stress management, health informatics, and employability skills.
* pre-AICE Environmental Management - This high school credit course reviews middle-school topics as they relate to managing natural resources. Many students in this class will take AP Environmental Management in 9th grade.

8th grade Environmental Management: 

The Pre-AICE Environmental Management Course is designed to teach learners about sustainable development in a world where the security of resources and life-sustaining systems is endangered by human impact. It draws upon disciplines such as biology, Earth science, geography and economics. Learners gain an understanding of the Earth’s natural systems and how people use natural resources; they then investigate the impact of human development on the environment and learn how the environment can be managed sustainably in the future, from a local as well as a global perspective.
